Runne Family

Runne Family, Aviation World Aviation (AWA) missionaries-in-training for aviation school coursesMeet our thriving missionary family in Nicaragua—Caleb Runne and Glenda Escudero and their children, Jordana and Enoch Runne.

The birth of their union began on June 5, 2006 when they were introduced in Argentina. One of the most romantic stories full of miracles to prove to them that their union was directed by the Creator, they married only 68 days after meeting! Through various trials they were taught how to recognize God’s will for their life. In addition, with the arrival of their children, it became more and more apparent that the only way to live was to allow God to completely guide and direct every aspect of their life.

Looking back, it was clear where God had been preparing them for missionary service from their beginnings. In separate countries, Caleb in the United States and Glenda in Argentina, they were both raised by Adventist parents who instilled the fear of God with deep roots. Caleb, choosing to become a doctor of chiropractic and emergency medical technician, was convicted to have a unique practice that did not rely on instruments, insurance, not even electricity, so that he could be of service to the suffering needing only his “head and hands”. The Holy Spirit informed his education through the lens of the Bible and Spirit of Prophesy. God added to the gift of healing, the gift of tongues and teaching as Caleb accepted invitations to preach and teach in both English and Spanish, in the church and the community.

Glenda chose to study psychopedagogy, a branch of psychology focused on how to improve the learning process through the life cycle. She was given the conviction to devote all her efforts and time to the most important mission field, the home. The Bible and Spirit of Prophesy directed her in when and how to homeschool their two children and also how to become the mother and wife God wants her to be. Glenda was always on fire for foreign missionary work and reaching the unreached. One of her dreams is to become a missionary pilot and spread the 3 Angels Messages to places were the gospel hasn’t been preached.

Caleb and Glenda have been blessed with two children, Jordana, eleven years old and Enoch, nine. God has gifted each one with strengths and interests that will be useful in the mission field. They are both creative and inquisitive, lovers of nature and adventure. They love to make new friends, spread the gospel and are each other’s best friends.

As a family they have been waiting for the moment when the Holy Spirit would tell them directly, “the fields are ripe for the harvest”. They have answered His call to be missionaries to Guyana with Adventist World Aviation and say, “Lord, send us”.

A New Direction:
Please read through the Runne’s articles detailing their journey which brought them to be serving in Nicaragua instead of Guyana. God provided a new direction and a different adventure. To Him be the glory!

Each AWA missionary does an invaluable work to further the gospel, however, none of them can do this work alone. It takes a team of people to unity together and boldly commit to this cause. There is an opportunity for you to join this work and be an influential part of bringing joy, and healing to this world. Consider being a part of this force that brings change around the world. By financially partnering with our missionaries you too can stand with us to positively shift our world till Jesus comes again!

Nicaragua Mission Project

Nicaragua Mission Project Nicaragua - Medevac The aviation mission base in Nicaragua is located in the north east corner by the boarder of Honduras. This part of the country is extremely isolated from the rest of the country due to its geographic location. Mountain ranges and endless impermeable jungle separate the Miskito people from the advancements civilization provides. Transportation and communication infrastructure was never fully developed in this area. The region has very limited medical care and many suffer and often lose their lives because they [...]
