Things have been bustling at the Fix home; taking care of two young boys, doing tree work, and preparing to deploy to Nicaragua. Our days are full! In the midst of all this I was given the opportunity to do another angel flight for Adventist World Aviation (AWA). A lady who had been in [...]
It was Sunday at the Fix home in Kentucky. I had been sharpening chainsaws for tree work I was going to do the next day. I had cut my finger pretty deep while sharpening and was considering how difficult it would be to work the next day with this injury. As I was thinking about my [...]
The Great Need We are at home in Kentucky as I write this report. We’re fresh from our three month pre-deployment trip. When I first heard our family would be in Nicaragua for three months, I was somewhat surprised. I thought it was kind of long for a survey trip. But as I spent [...]
We had a visit from an inspector that works for the aviation administration here in Nicaragua. It’s been a struggle to get traction with permission to fly the AWA plane here in Nicaragua. Some changes had taken place since the last time permission to fly had been sought. Mainly, renewal of this permission needs to [...]

I have struggled with these things at times as we have been planning on going into the mission field for quite a while. God [...]
