Just one week before our flight to Guyana we got an urgent message from Bruce and Monique Wilkerson, AWA Guyana project managers. The message said they needed to speak to us that night. On the telephone, with trepidation in her voice, Monique informed us that on August 9th, 2021, the Guyanese government decided not to allow anyone into Guyana unless they were vaccinated for Covid-19. Many thoughts and concerns raced through all our minds.
