Have you ever decided not to follow God’s call because of the lack of visible resources? When we were accepted to be missionaries in training with AWA one concern nagged at both Glenda and me. How will we provide for our family if I am no longer working? It was not long before our heavenly Father answered our fears by first revealing to us our lack of faith, our fear of surrender, our doubtful spirit. Three days after accepting the call a letter came in the mail from one of our close friends; the only ones with whom we had shared our plans to enter the foreign missions field. When I opened the envelope a check for $1000 fell out with a note about how they also planned to give us $100/month after we arrived in Guyana.
