Two days in March our church care group conducted a mini medical mission for our Bible interests and newly baptized members at Green Valley in preparation for our weeklong nightly Growing in Christ Stewardship series. ECG tests, Fasting Blood Sugar and blood typing were done during the 1st day. The following day doctors were available to present the tests results. Due to limited funds, only vitamins were distributed to attendees. Prescriptions were written for patients to purchase. Danilo Betita, one of our newly baptized members, is suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) due to his past smoking habits. He has difficulty breathing and was prescribed medicines which he is unable to buy. As a 66-year-old childless widower he is unable to work.
