I suspected that the enemy would try to stop us from going to work in God’s vineyard, but it still shook me when, after waiting an hour in line to get to the ticket counter in the Knoxville airport, the attendant told us we would not be able to board the plane because it was too late to check our bags. We had prayed early that morning that God would give us traveling mercies, so I decided to trust instead of my usual reaction to stress out. Sure enough, God provided. The attendant found another flight that would still allow us to get to Miami on time to make our international flight to Managua, Nicaragua, and there were exactly 4 seats left on the packed airplane! One week prior, we realized that Jordana and Enoch only had one month before their passports expired. Nicaragua requires at least 6 months to enter the country. Again, God provided and grew our faith. The one exception to the rule was if we belonged to a humanitarian agency…
