Our Cessna 172 trainer is a much-needed airplane inside AWA. It helps us train future pilots and helps keep current our active mission pilots. Even though this particular 172 (N75586) is a fairly “new” plane (1976), it is in some dire need of updates as the radios and vacuum driven instruments are starting to fail. On top of that, we need to install a GPS navigational system which was not previously installed.
