Our goal for more than ten years has been to reestablish an Adventist presence in the Inupiat Village of Ambler. The first Adventists to pioneer a work here were John and Naomi Topkok in the late 1960s. Their efforts there spanned more than 30 years. They had obtained two townsite house lots; one for their own house, and the other for a chapel.
