Two weeks ago, I received word that the long-awaited funds for the construction of the Seattle Centre of Influence had arrived. Members of Seattle Church were all very happy. I went to the Vice Chancellor to request the release of funds to purchase building materials, as prices had begun to rise due to the war in the Middle East, which had driven up oil prices. I called the building committee to share the task of new price findings on the building material market. We were happy to receive feedback on acceptable costs; however, during the meeting, some differences arose.
