Do you remember in Matthew 22 where Jesus speaks about the wedding feast? Those invited wouldn’t come, too busy, too distracted by life. “Invite them in from the streets and highways so that My house may be full!” went the command (paraphrased). While everyone came and then some turned away because of no wedding garment, verse 14 brings home the point: Many are called, but few are chosen. Ever wonder why? Because few choose Him.
