It was a last-minute decision for me to go along on the trip for what was to be one of the most touching experiences I’ve had so far working with AWA. Pastor Ric had just arrived at the office. He had packed a few things and was preparing to leave on an Angel Flight when unexpectedly, he invited me to go. I had only minutes to decide. I said yes and was headed with him to Wisconsin. He was going up to conduct a funeral service for dear friends that had lost a loved one just a few days before. Then we would be picking up Angel flight passengers and heading to Charlotte, NC. It was truly a God-designed trip. It was God who moved me to go and I am glad I yielded to His nudging because of what was about to happen…
