While the morning was slightly overcast, the clouds were broken and there was golden sun highlighting the thin fog and clouds. This would soon burn off as the sun rose. Pastor Ric and I were ready to embark on our journey; an angel flight for Pastor Ric’s neighbor, Kris, and her dad Butch. Butch and his wife had both battled Covid 19. Sadly Butch’s wife passed away from complications with pneumonia. She was Butch’s caregiver and without her he would struggle on his own. Butch lived in Savannah, Georgia and would need to move up to Durham, North Carolina with his daughter, Kris. Kris was deeply stressed with how to get him moved. A long drive in the car would be hard for him. When Pastor Ric learned of this situation he offered to fly Butch here to NC. In great tears of joy, Kris thanked him.
