Project Description
Underground Central American Missionaries
As difficult as it is to imagine, there are still places where being a missionary is a dangerous profession in Central America. We didn’t always have to hide our true identity, but due to the political climate and in order to continue to spread the gospel freely, we need to remain anonymous. We are both professionals and have two teenage children. When we answered the call to foreign missions, we sold all our belongings and invested all our focus on the field God assigned us. Our method for reaching the communities we serve is through the “right arm of the gospel,” that is health ministry. Just as Jesus healed more than preached, we use His model for enlarging His kingdom. We have a natural health clinic where we attend and educate the patients that come for relief of pain and illness. Using Biblical principles (pure water, daily and weekly rest, recreative exercise, sunlight, clean air, plant-based nutrition, temperance, and trust in God) we are able to meet the needs of people in all social classes and present them to their Creator. We have seen God blessing our efforts in the city and we are also training others who can introduce these principles in their own spheres of influence in other urban or isolated rural communities. Your prayers and financial support are vital for us to be able to continue the much-needed work here in Central America. Jesus is coming soon!
