Jarrett Moss
Chief Pilot — Headquarters, Wilson, NC
Joined AWA: November 2024
Jarrett Moss serves as Chief Pilot for Adventist World Aviation at our headquarters in Wilson, North Carolina. He joined AWA in November 2024, inspired by the organization’s mission and deeply moved by the life-changing work being done around the world through aviation ministry.
Since joining AWA, Jarrett has found great joy in supporting and advancing the flying mission. One of his most meaningful experiences was traveling to the Philippines to visit the
mission base and work alongside the dedicated pilot serving there. He also loves training and mentoring our upcoming missionary pilots as they prepare to serve in the field, helping them build both their technical skills and spiritual readiness for mission service.
Jarrett holds Commercial ASEL and AMEL ratings, an Instrument Rating, and endorsements in High Performance, Complex, and Tailwheel aircraft. He is also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII).
Looking ahead, Jarrett’s vision is to see AWA expand into new regions and operate larger aircraft, enabling the organization to reach even farther with the message of hope and healing that aviation ministry brings.
