At times discouragement has a way of settling into our lives. When things are delayed, as in the plans for our survey trip to Nicaragua, it can cause doubt and confusion. I have struggled with these things at times as we have been planning on going into the mission field for quite a while. God tells us in His word that He is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33) and that we should not be wavering in our faith (James 1:6) I had left my regular job in anticipation of our being deployed and in order to focus on garnering support for our family once we are in country.
