Edgar Espinosa – AWAF Property Manager
Edgar Espinosa has managed our AWAF base property of 25 hectares on the island of Palawan for the last 10 years. He is 47 years old and is married to Raylene Espinosa. They have two children Edrei Von and Earyl Ann. Edgar possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology which he received in 1997 from Mountain View College, Mindanao, Philippines. He also possesses vocational certificates for Basic Reflexology (1989) and Practical Electricity (1986). Prior to joining the AWAF team, Edgar worked as an office worker for Philippines Frontier Missions from 2003-2007. He has also worked as a Layman for the Central Luzon Conference from 1990-1991. In the late 1980’s, he was a missionary volunteer for Pastor Darwin Faigao and Pastor Diel 1987-1986. Edgar, along with his family, love music. He was a member of a singing group from 1993-1997. From 1994-1997, he was a Rescue Team member at Mountain View College as well as a Pathfinder & Master Guide Director at Mountain View. Edgar has a great commitment and love for missions and we are pleased to have him as an integral part of our Philippine team.
Raylene was born on March 25, 1973, she is 43 years old and is married to Edgar Espinosa. She has a bachelor degree in Elementary Education, which she achieved in 1997. Raylene worked as a literature evangelist for two years and spent a year as a missionary volunteer. She is a singing group member in her spare time and is proficient at both guitar and ukulele. She and Edgar have two children, Edrei Von who attends Western Philippine University and Earyl Ann who attends Palawan Adventist Academy in Narra, Palawan. Raylene is an integral member of the AWA Philippines team as she uses her educational experience to teach Philippine culture and the Tagalog language to full-time missionaries from the USA.
Philippines - Palawan Project Adventist World Aviation has a mission base strategically located on the island of Palawan. Having a base placed here allows access to hundreds of outlying islands. A mission base in the Philippines allows aviation to bring aid to remote areas, as well as focus on evangelizing areas that others cannot reach.
