Nagy Family – January 2017

Dear Family and Friends;

I am so proud to announce the launch of Adventist World Aviation’s new and improved website. Nik started this project shortly after we joined AWA, and after many, many hours of creative and technical work and collaboration with others, it is finally up and running. Check it out at flyaway.org and let us know what you think.

It’s the start of another new year. At this time, we tend to look back and see where we’ve come from, how God has worked, and look forward to a new year, wondering what will be in store and where God will lead.

Nagy Family 2017

As we look back on the last year of AWA’s work, there has been great growth, with the deployment of several new missionaries, and several new families and individuals looking to get involved in AWA’s mission work. We are excited that the Lord of the harvest is bringing more workers to the field (Luke 10:2)!

Our family spent the last year living in Arizona—a place we never imagined we’d be. Even though in many areas things haven’t gone as we’d hoped and planned, we know that the Lord has His plans and His timeline, and that’s what’s best. As always, He has been good and has provided for our needs, as He has promised to do.

As we consider how we are still here, still plugging along, still seeking Jesus, we realize that it’s because someone is praying for us. Maybe that someone is you. If so, thank you! God does great things in response to prayer, and we have witnessed many of those things.

As we look forward to the year ahead of us, seeing where and how God will work, we are asking you to come along on this journey with us as our partner. How can you become involved? First and foremost, we need prayer support. “If God is for us, who can be against us” (Romans 8:31)? Pray that God will work in us, for us, and through us for His glory and His kingdom purposes. Pray that God will do mighty things through AWA.

Secondly, we need financial partners. We currently have several committed partners who are providing funding on a monthly basis, and for them, we are so grateful. We need more partners like this who will support us financially. Is that you? Right now, about another $1,000 every month is needed to get us funded up to 100% of our budget so that we can continue in this work.

May God bless you this year as you seek Him,

Nik, Lynette, Devyn, Simon, and Rylan Nagy

Mission Statement

In light of the Gospel Commission, AWA exists to provide logistical air support in remote parts of the world, to carry out humanitarian work.

The Great Commision

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Mathew 28:18-20
