206 Brazil - Floats

206 Brazil – Floats

AWA yellow! The Brazil float plane is slowly turning yellow. Painting a Cessna 206 is about the same as four cars. These big floats add another car each. That’s a lot of special aircraft paint, actually about $4,000 worth with the aluminum treatments and primers. Sounds like a lot but vital to protecting the aluminum for many years of service on the Amazon river. Click the Donate Now button to help finish this airplane and send it to Brazil where it is urgently needed to support the ongoing ministry there.

August 2016 Update

The Brazil floatplane is getting ready for paint! It is always exciting when paint is going on an airplane that is being overhauled, not only does it look great but it is an indicator of progress! Work has also started this week on getting the floats prepared for paint as well. More as it happens!

Mission Statement

In light of the Gospel Commission, AWA exists to provide logistical air support in remote parts of the world, to carry out humanitarian work.

The Great Commision

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Mathew 28:18-20
