Alaska Update – April 2016

Dear Family and Friends:

Kim and Laree Ueeck have lived in Galena for more than 20 years. Laree is a Special Education teacher and Kim is a heavy equipment operator for the Alaska State Department of Transportation. For a number of years they have led out in Sabbath worship and Bible Studies in the community. Their worship group consists of approximately six to ten individuals each week. April 2016

The pastor of the Fairbank’s church, Pastor Steve Evenson and Judy, his wife, have tried to make it to Galena at least once a quarter to give support and encouragement. Now that we (Jim and Linda Kincaid) have partially relocated to the Fairbanks area with an AWA airplane, it is hoped that the Galena ministry will get more frequent support.

Please keep our Alaskan ministry in your daily prayers. Also, you financial support is greatly appreciated, as it keeps our planes flying, which is our primary mode of transportation into the rural areas of Alaska.

Your prayers and donations for the mission work in Alaska is greatly appreciated.

Mission Statement

In light of the Gospel Commission, AWA exists to provide logistical air support in remote parts of the world, to carry out humanitarian work.

The Great Commision

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Mathew 28:18-20

Adventist World Aviation accepts the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We hold to the value of “Sola Scriptura” (The Bible and the Bible alone) —the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
